UNDERSTANDING THE CHALLENGE
Designing for Banyan Tree is the beginning of a creative journey—one that requires a deep understanding of its diverse offerings and distinguished clientele. Ensuring design consistency while respecting the brand’s long-standing reputation is both a challenge and an opportunity to grow and innovate.

Banyan Tree is a world-renowned 5-star hotel brand with locations in over 20 countries, offering luxurious stays and exceptional experiences. With a rich heritage and collaborations with global agencies, the brand upholds a strong identity that must be consistently reflected in all designs

DESIGN SCOPE
Our work involves creating collateral that guides guests on their own journeys through Banyan Tree properties and the BTWS Wellbeing Center.

OUR APPROACH
We embrace the concept of "Begin Your Journey" by designing materials that inspire exploration and connection. Our goal is to honor Banyan Tree’s legacy while crafting elegant and innovative solutions that create a seamless brand experience across all touchpoints.

OBJECTIVE
Increase Banyan Tree’s brand awareness as the leader in wellbeing-focused hospitality post-Covid, through the rollout of Wellbeing Sanctuaries in designated properties.

OUR APPROACH FOR THE BTWS
BTWS, believes in the interconnectedness of all things—within, through the connection to oneself, and without, through relationships with others and nature. Our evidence-based, accessible approach to personal wellbeing practices inspires the wellbeing-curious to explore and grow.

In our design for BTWS, we aim to visually represent this philosophy through Black and White Imagery, which highlights the themes of Self, Others, and Nature. This monochromatic approach enhances emotional resonance, especially when paired with emotive images featuring Banyan Tree’s signature colors.

To further distinguish BTWS from the main Banyan Tree brand, we incorporate unique graphic elements, including an octagonal design inspired by the 8 Pillars of Wellbeing. This approach creates a distinct yet harmonious identity, balancing modernity and tradition while aligning with Banyan Tree’s overarching ethos.
